PopVibe terms of service

PopVibe is operated by Alkamar Investments Ltd. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Who may use PopVibe

You must be 18 or over. You must give accurate details when you sign up, including a photograph of yourself, and keep your sign-in details to yourself. One person, one account.

How to behave

PopVibe exists so that people can meet each other. That only works if it is safe. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone
• Post sexual content involving children, or any content that is illegal
• Post another person's private information, or content you have no right to share
• Use the service to defraud, spam or advertise without our agreement
• Record or redistribute a live show without the consent of the people in it
• Attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. For anything serious we will do so without notice, and where the law requires it we will report it.

Reporting

Every profile, post and message can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any member. Reports are reviewed by our staff. If you believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us at support@alkamar.online.

What you post

What you post remains yours. By posting it you give us permission to store and display it within PopVibe so that the service can show it to the people you intended. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already received.

Paying for things

Some parts of PopVibe are paid: subscriptions, entry to certain shows, and paid groups. Prices are shown before you pay.

• Payments made in the Android app are handled by Google Play; payments made on the web are handled by Paystack or PayPal.
• Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel at any time from your profile, or from Google Play if you subscribed there.
• Refunds follow the store's policy where you paid through a store. Otherwise write to us and we will deal with it fairly.
• Where we pay members as representatives, that arrangement is set out separately in writing and is not covered by these terms.

What we promise, and what we do not

We work to keep PopVibe available and safe, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, and we do not vet members beyond the checks described in our privacy policy. Meeting people carries risk, online and in person: use your judgement, meet in public, and tell someone where you are going.

To the extent the law allows, Alkamar Investments Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You may stop using PopVibe and delete your account at any time — see deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we must to comply with the law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of Kenya.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will update the date above and, where the change matters, tell you in the app. Continuing to use PopVibe after that means you accept the change.
